That rate is reported for the wider state area and we derived it from a count and a population, so it isn't specific to Nassau and any one district could sit above or below it. Robbery is recorded at 103.9 per 100,000 on the same wider basis, and reported figures always understate the true count. The four governments differ: the UK holds the Bahamas at its lowest level, while the US, Canada, and Australia each raise it to increased caution.
